Not really something directly related to Fakemon but it’s the fact that two of the animals have already been used as starters and the other isn’t the first or even second Water duck Pokémon that makes them feel unreal a bit. Gen 4 had another turtle starter, Gen 6 somewhat with water frogs and fire foxes specifically been done but not as starters, Gen 7 with another water seal, Gen 8 had another monkey starter.
I still like them though better base forms than the last few gens at least
