>>49939918You have to know that I picked the game up after six years having thought that I had beaten all the gyms, but I realized that I still had to get to Snowpoint City to face Wulfric.
I was in a house on route 18 with underleveled, mostly fainted Pokemon; I assumed that I was training the lower-levels. I fixed up and replace my team with standard 'mons to explore route 18 and Terminus Cave, which I admit that I failed to get far in.
I enjoyed Couriway Town and had an odd reunion with Prof. Sycamore, who challenged me to a battle to determine my strength after I had just prevented the death of Kalos.
Route 19 was tedious and made me heavily regret choosing my nickname as "Lil' C" and that the friend characters are mostly boring.
Snowbelle City was gorgeous, but I am always a fan of the snow-draped cities. The NPCs there were interesting, as well, and Wulfric has become one of my favorite gym leaders; he even made me like Avalugg.
I cannot say the same about route 20. I again took some weaker 'mons in hopes of training them, but I was almost defeated by the time I had arrived at the Pokemon Village, which was cute enough.
I will also admit that I skipped route 21 in favor heading to the Victory Road in route 22, so I will talk about my miscellaneous activities here. I wondered traded a few old 'mons and received nothing incredibly exciting aside from a lv. 1 Froakie, which I had. I wondered traded that later to spread the love. I also was very generous with o-powers because why not. I finally bought an outfit that emits jazz notes when dressed. I explored Lumiose City for a while, especially its cafes. The tipping one is cute.
Now, when it comes back to Victory Road, I had a blast. I really only had five 'mons, for one was a lv. 30 HM slave Whiplash. Balancing my potions, spamming repels, finding hidden items, and reorganizing my party was actually fun. The trainers here were also entertaining, with Ranger Petra being my favorite.
