Nascour sounds a bit like Nasir, the guy who programmed the early FF games, and his design also looks like it fits more in a FF game than pokemon. Evice and Greevil are both close to evil, and they're the final bosses of Colosseum and XD, if you read the mayor's name as E.S. Cade it sounds a lot like some fancy old-money dude's name and fits the mayor of the rich town while Verich sounds a bit like very rich and being rich was about the one thing the average npc hanging around Gateon port in XD knew about Mr. Verich. Miror B is short for mirror ball which lead to his disco theme. There's random npcs whit names like Liqui who uses water types or Cail who has green hair like the vegetable kale, ect.
