>>49937622>i'm more curious if anyone still plays or has any collections to show or have any stories.I still have my old cards too, but they're back in my home country, so I'm going to bring all of my Pokémon collection next time I visit.
I got a bunch of random cards and sets because back in 7th grade there was a kid that had a friend who was 21yo and collected/played, so he would give tons of repeats to my colleague, he would take whatever he wanted for himself and then would take the rest in a big shopping bag to school now and then to give away. During break we would search the bags and get what we needed in like a 30 second limit, but because I was smarter I would scoop a ton of cards, put them together and shove them in my pocket.
Another time I was outside my place waiting for my mom, a teen goes by and asks me if I like pokémon cards. I say yes and he gives me a big stack, something like 50 or 60 cards.
My first cards was the very first beginner deck with the Machamp up front.
Recently got a tablet, so play TCG online now and then, but I don't spend any money on it. The only money I spent on cards was on 2 booster packs when gen 3 was released.
