I've only ever paid for this once to transfer some Gen 6/7 mon to SwSh. Never paid for it again.
You're better off waiting until they add support for it after Scarlet and Violet releases.

As tomorrow's BDSP update shows, they're either
>A: Waiting for all of the Mythicals in BDSP to be "distributed" (see: require you to own other core Pokemon games on Switch) so that's the only way you can get them in BDSP
>B: Waiting for SV to release so they can bulk compatibility update BDSP, PLA and SV all in one go

I think they'll update before SV (because mons that go into SV probably won't be able to go backwards) and it's really just the distributions. They'll wait a month or two after the Darkrai event is done before they'll release the HOME update.

Since there’s no way to complain directly to them is really hard for people to pressure them and even if they had a twitter im afraid the number of people who use home and are angry about it is just too fucking small to make an impact out of the millions of people with pokemon games i doubt even 5% uses home for stuff like storing a living dex
