Obviously for anything that lets you use Mewtwo/Ho-Oh/Lugia they are the best picks. Snorlax is also completely overpowered in gen 2.

I ran those three along with the likes of Dragonite, Alakazam, Raikou, whenever I could. Just run over everything. But I'll break out my N64 later and come back down to Earth see what I used for Poke Cup.

Snorlax 55, Tyranitar 55, Exegguctor, Zapdos/Raikou, Suicine, and Machamp/Golem/Rhydon should get you through anything, then sub in Ho Oh Lugia and Mewtwo for the Prime cup. That should get you through anything
