>>49950080It was around when twitch plays pokemon was the new hotness. Someone had made a board dedicated to it, with the premise that he wanted the board to have no rules at all. So I used a lewd profile picture, both because I wanted to, and to challenge the idea. I was in pretty shit shape at the time. So while my arguments were full of self-deprecation, it still struck her that I argued that by making a place with no rules, they will specifically attract people who need no rules to get by.
She likes to debate philosophy and social behavior theories and stuff, and was curious about me. And she was also fond of pokemon porn. So, we met up on Skype.
For about three years, the two of us were just friends. Close friends, but friends. I learned about her issues: selective mutism, chronic fatigue, and some degree of sociopathy. And she learned of mine at the time: depression, anxiety, self-loathing, and paranoia. Over those years, she helped me get over them, while I helped her see that someone could appreciate her even though she felt like she was useless to the world due to her physical and social weaknesses.
It's not clear when exactly our relationship transitioned from friendship to deep love, but it did. Years spent gaming, relying on one another, and sharing in our passions crawled on and on. During year seven, I got to see her face. And this past month, I finally went to go see her in person, spending a month in Canada to spend time with her. During this time, she managed to fight past a bit of her mutism with the help of her sister and mother. I got to hear her voice for the first time last month. Now, back in Arkansas, and confident we want to be together for life, we're looking into options for immigration.
Like I said. A lot of work, but there is wonder in my future.
