The weird gradient that makes it look like an old toy, the leg spikes and whatever the hell that thing on the neck is ruin it for me.
The main shape itself is actually pretty cool, I wish it was asymmetric to double down on the abomination factor, for example on thick front leg on the right while the left one is shaped like Arceus'.

It trades Atk for SpD. That's an upgrade for a tank like Dialga.
The only downside is that it'll probably need to hold its Orb like Giratina in future titles, meaning Origin Dialga can't hold Leftovers.

Dialga's Origin Forme is better than Palkia's. There, I said it. Palkia's is just way too goofy, an armless centaur caricature. Dialga actually retains aspects of its original self while still having that otherworldly vibe for the new form.

Not necessarily.
Dialga's best attacking move is still Draco Meteor, which does not lend itself well to RestTalk.
Origin Dialga should probably be played as a special tank with dual STAB, Fire Blast, and either Toxic or Stealth Rock.
