No. You're both wrong and stupid.
1. BW is overrated precisely because of those like you that claim it's better than BW2, when it factually isn't, while BW2 is underrated for the same reason. Simple as that.
2. BW would still be bad even if it only had old pokémon and BW2 would still be good even if it only had new pokémon. This is nonsense that you use to cope with the reality.

I played them for the first in last year, without any outside influence about the gen as I lost interest in turn based games when they came out so i went it pretty much blind. It was a really enjoyable for me

In retrospect we can criticize 6 all we want for what it did wrong, but at the time it was okay for being Game Freak's first 3D game even if it was a downgrade coming off of 5. But 7 was just outright trash and everybody at the time knew that - which caused shills to become unhinged.

They really, really, want to be seen as part of the "good days" so the Crux of their argument is to try and push the narrative that XY were the only bad games of the 3D era and that Gen 7 wasn't all that bad.
So in order to push this sentiment they need to keep repeating it in order to make it seem like the popular opinion, ignoring the fact that SM were the whole reason 3D-era games were unanimously considered to be separate from the first five gens to begin with

I'd say it worked. If people looked at the games objectively the gens would be split between those with the national dex and those without. There are plenty of other gameplay elements that changed between Gen 6 and 7 but that's the biggest feature that got the axe and hasn't been seen since.

I never played this gen, are the 2nd games a direct sequel or something like kanto in gen1-2 where you experience the same region in different times? Is it worth to experience both or can you safely skip the first game?

By the end of gen IX, I am near positive that the general "grouping" for Pokemon will be generations I - IV and VI - IX, with V being the unique generation.

First of all, it's (you) who's doing the revisionism. And secondly, the 3D itself. Wasn't good so it's not an excuse for the games to be the worst in the series. XY were garbage games no matter how hard you try to say otherwise. Has been for the past 9 years and will remain so
