Can someone let me know when the constant interruptions end? I've really been trying to enjoy this game but it's pretty hard to if I can't even play it

But when you actually play Gen 7 it's nowhere near as bad?

In fact whenever I try and slog through Gen 5 it just makes me want to play USUM again. If I really wanted to play through a shitty game with interruptions constantly even XY is better.

Why should I bother finishing this?

what is with this sudden surge of people associating gen 5 and gen 7? gen 7 is fucking garbage that solidified all the terrible trends set by gen 6. regional forms are just about the only good thing introduced there and even then they were pretty underwhelming. and I'm still pissed that gen 7 removed the national dex (not the pokemon, the national pokedex as an in-game feature)

I enjoyed both Gen 5 and 7 but to be honest, they're pretty similar in terms of quality. GF will never top the magic of Gen 1 2 and 3 at this point though.
