Most people think smoggies like stall, but that's not exactly it. Smoggies like the gen 4 balance where you had a pretty even trifecta of Stall, Hyper Offense, and Bulky Offense. The mons and strategies they've shitcanned over the years have all been those that threaten or imbalance that rock/paper/scissors game.
In VGC the availability of mons has always been format-dependent and there has never been the same clear R/P/S game so Smoggies call it unbalanced or overcentralized and shit on it.
