The problem with this is I have seen way less Chestnaught porn than Incineroar, Rillaboom, Emboar, Swampert, Feraligatr or Blastoise porn. If he’s supposed to be a bara he’s incredibly shit at it since no one wants to draw him.

I would assume that no one in Gen 1 fits the pattern since it was the very first region with a very choatic production schedule. These "rules" probably didnt exist in a solid manner until gen 3 or 4 or whatever

Cyndaquil is started of scared of everything but become Typhlosion who’s gimmick is getting so angry it erupts.
Litten has a similar thing, staring of quiet but becoming a show-off as Incineroar.
