Let's see what we can learn from all the games that failed to be pokemon

So i never actually owned this, i just rented it a few times but in this game you race monsters and one of the interesting things here is that you can eventually change the color of your monster to whatever you want, i think that could be a good gimmick for a pokemon

another thing is is that the "shinies" of this game actually had inverted stats and typings, since we have a more limited dex now and every pokemon has a walking animation i think pokemon races could be a cool side thing like contest or the pokeathlon in a new game

also i just watched a bit of dinosaur king on the ds and it has solid sprite art i might try that later their anime seems solid too but they probably fucked up by making the bad guys a Doronbo gang/team rocket clone
