It didn't expand the wild area to branch into Turffield or Hulbury, didn't add any sort of NG+ like BW2 did, didn't elaborate on Rose's retardation, didn't fix the game itself being just a rehash of SM, didn't give you the chance to rematch Hammerlocke gym with an actual gym puzzle this time instead of a teleport and throwaway area... Didn't even explain why Eternatus randomly decided to wake up at the same time the Ultimate Weapon fired.
Sure, the DLC was enjoyable enough compared to the base experience, but it didn't really fix Sword and Shield like it needed to be-- again, just like Ultra Sun and Moon didn't fix Sun and Moon.
