Blame it on shitty localisation. It'd probably be better if they called Old Chateau Forest Chateau and Old Gateau Forest Gateau. The japanese name has a pun on youkan being a dessert and the word for mansion. The name is mori no youkan (forest mansion/forest youkan). The localisers fucked it up by calling it Old.
