I sure am starting to.
I've played a fair bit of the max raid adventures thing which I find quite fun but either it's spoiled me on raids with its guaranteed captures or GF were intentionally cunts with basegame content.
I was a little bothered when I lost a shiny Archen fairly early on for no reason other than the game deciding I didn't get to capture it even though I used a Level Ball after taking it out with my level 100 full health max HP Eternatus
I'm now kind of pissed because I thought I'd have a funny little story about barging in on a discord's shiny Charizard and only using False Swipe, letting them do all the work, but the game decided I couldn't catch that either so I get disappointment instead of a cheap laugh.
Turns out capture is decided when I start the den and, outside of using a Master Ball, there's nothing I can do to change that.
Who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
There's no skill involved.
