but REALLY got bad with gen 8 yea I’d say so. It’s definitely more in line with gen 6+ than gen 1-4, the difference is just that BW committed to its direction and still had the general love and care from the earlier Gens, whereas gen 6 + feels like they wimped out and started heavily relying on nostalgia pandering and random gimmicks to carry their games
