That's kind of unfair, since Alola is a collection of tropical islands. Obviously Hoenn would be better than Melemele or Poni or Akala individually.

The problem is so much of the region is presented with the same climate as Kanto/Johto. Look at Petalburg woods, looks like it would fit in easy in Kanto.
