These games are now over 10 years old and most people on this board probably grew up playing them as children and there's probably people on this board that never played them because they were too young. But when these games came out, a lot of us older /VP/oreons thought they were amazing. There was so much vibrant conversation about everything they were doing for competitive, how cool the designs were, what a step forward it was for the series... But now all of those guys are old bastards, myself included. I bet in a couple years people will start viewing it similarly to RSE where it was the hotly contested region for a long long time, it got a remake that people were mixed about, and now nobody fucking talks about it anymore. Nobody.
