>>50021223I don't think Volo was a good enough person for Arceus. Perhaps at one point, and from his own perspective he's done nothing wrong. But he got involved with Giratina to tear a hole in the sky, fucked with Dialga/Palkia, and he caused the frenzies. He did this with the intent to eventually confront Arceus and destroy the world. Arceus pulled in the protagonist specifically because of Volo's actions. Volo probably could have met Arceus if he didn't feel the world had to be remade, and didn't cause the space-time rift. It reminds me of someone of Christian faith getting frustrated when God doesn't answer their prayers, so they sin.
