ITT: Pokemon that important NPCS should use more

What are some Pokemon that should be used by important NPCS like Gym leaders, Elite Four, Champions etc? I always though Ditto post hidden ability would be used by important NPCS he's not used in some games at all.

This is the opposite, but I would like to see more unimportant NPCs with starter Pokemon. I think I've only seen maybe a handful of Cooltrainers who have them.

Ditto is a loremon, it's like asking why no one uses Unown
and like Unown, it exists only in a cave the general public does not have access to
people are not supposed to be aware it exists

People know about Ditto. There is that sidequest in ultra sun and moon where 5 pretend to be humans and its implied that some ditto live among humans. If anything i feel most don't use it because they are to dumb to use it.

The reason people don't use Ditto is because if you fight them with a team consisting of nothing but a Ditto, you will keep using Transform on each other and replenish the PP every time. The battle would never end.

2 if that was a concern it would be pretty easy to make it so Transform fails if it's used against another Pokémon that has Transform
