Post your current/last teams.
Pic related is my team in BB2R. Decided that whatever hatched from the gift Egg would determined what Monotype team I’m going with and ended up getting Pichu. Currently thinking on how I’m going to beat Cheren with just these two.

Is that all there is? Unfortunate. My initial thought was a Nasty Plot Pikachu sweep, but it seems it was removed from their learnsets. Good luck!

Currently also doing a BB2R monotype. I'm in Castelia having similar thoughts about Burgh. I thought I might have Lileep for this, but forgot about the Crustle blockade.

This is my team at the league. Using 4 megas because I thought it would be funny, really it just means I have 1 sweeper per battle and the other 3 are nearly useless.
First attempt made it through 3/4 E4s. I need some more levels so that I can tank more neutral hits.

I also have Roselia and Swadloon in the box. Unfortunately all my Bug resists will still have Flying moves to worry about.
I do have Sleep Powder users, so I might have to take a page out of your book.

So far Manectric has done the most. Electric + Fire covers enough for most battles, and it has good speed/sp.attack. Pinsir is usually the second choice.

User Mega Manectric when I first played ORAS and it was a beast despite the goofy mane. Mega Pinsir was fun to use in competitive as well.

Gyarados would be better with Dragon Dance but Gastrodon is still a solid choice. Gardevoir/Gallade with a Ralts on the way to Hearthome would be another suggestion thanks to their wide movepool regardless of which you choose.

when im choosing my team for my first playthrough, i dont think about type comp or anything, i just pick the 5 pokemon i most want to use and then use those. if the types overlap then so be it, id rather use pokemon i find cool and have a harder time

At the elite 4 doing a nuzlocke of liquid crystal. Machamp and steelix have done pretty much all the work though since chuck all the other pokemon have been meatshields

Just finished Yellow with this team. Tried out a bunch of Pokemon this run, including Charizard, Graveler, Butterfree and Hitmonlee, but in the end I settled on these six. Pikachu was more of a mascot than anything else; it was decent the first 30% of the game and became borderline useless after that. Vaporeon, Kadabra and later Dragonite carried this run.
I'm not quite done jet with the game - I intended to fill the dex as much as I can, and even though I' already at 110 or so (with like 20 or so being uncatchable thanks to trade evolution, version exclusivity and choices), there is still quite some business unfinished.
