>>50050743I dunno, I sure ain't a Dragonfag at least, Dragon definitly needed a Nerf but Fairies still seem overtuned to me at the end of the day and basically became Dragon 2.0 in how the been handled by GF, In my experience Dragonfags actually seems to handled Fairies better then Fightingfags and Darkfags (Especially due the prevalence of Psychic/Fairy dual types basically cucking them out of the raison d'être of being the designated Anti-Psychic type) did, though i guess that depends on who you socialize with.
And obviously it is more of a commitment to balance a whole type then just 1 Pokémon (Like Incineroar, whose main strength is the movepool making it synergize very well) unless it is such a drastic necessity like it was in the Gen1 to Gen2 shift, just take a look at that it took for Dragon (Though one can definitely add that Dragon started off in a more balanced state since it only had set damage moves, i'd say the issues began more when it increasingly became more "Normalized" as a type with proper offensive moves, making it increasingly less of defense bonus to being "Normal but better", In fact i will posit that it is still true even with the existence of Fairy.), it not happening does any time soon does not mean Fairy is any less of a Type a cut above the rest to me with extremely little reason not to use since it has really good Weakness/Strength balance and powerful Pokémon to boot. Basically i feel like while not as bad as Dragon was i think Fairy skirts closer to it then it should, hence why i feel one single non-dragon related change to it would be enough.

Normalfag, but you probably realized that when i was calling for Normal Buffs.>>50050886That is a very good point, Steel is/was very much "Rock+1" and i think Dark also helped convey "Psychic is no longer top god in Gen2" to kids even not that into the mechanics and wouldn't get the Special Split but still noticed that Mewtwo and Alakazam were blatantly dominating.
