god tier in gen 4 vgc

intimidate nuff said
fake out, wide guard, feint, close combat smacks tyranitar (one of the most common pokemon)
great typing
decent enough stats

Due to an oversight in gen 2, hitmontop could learn sketch, meaning it could learn any move available in gen 2. This became useful in VGC when gen 2 games got put on the 3DS virtual console.
It's really good in VGC because you never know what it will have, from sacred fire to transform.
It's really funny too because I just made that up

Even if it doesn't see much use anymore since it's been outclassed for Intimidate, Technician sets are still good. Give it Triple Kick and Triple Axel with a Wide Lens and that's consistent almoat every mon for neutral or better damage
