Ive said it before and ill keep saying it
Sun and Moon were mediocre games but they had they strongest characters in the franchise
Guzma, Nanu, Gladion, Lusamine, Kukui, hell even the recon squad was solid if you count them.
Shame that Gamefreak is the walking embodiment of one step forward two steps back.

The issue with Lillie’s character arc doesn’t even work anymore. In SM, Lusamine is a controlling narcissist who sees her children as objects and treats them as such.m to the point were Lillie isn’t even allowed to dress herself ffs. The entire heart of the plot is Lillie breaking free from her mother. Lusamine not being an abusive monster completely ducks with the arc. Now they have to make up stupid shit for Lillie to be angry at Lusamine for like evolving her own Pokemon who wanted to evolve anyways. Also Lillie’s Z-powered form or whatever the fuck it’s supposed to be has no significance because no one forced Lillie to dress like a Jellyfish.
