Yeah. Truly hated that region with its 142313467 HM moves that was needed to just cross a road back in the day.

Gen 2 is worse, at least Gen 4 tried to do its own thing instead of blatantly riding off the back of Gen 1. People initially shilled Gen 2 as a troll but somehow idiots here thought it was serious and now they pretend to like Gen 2

At least Gen 2 did try to switch things up from Gen 1 more with the whole sequel story and things like bug contests and the battle tower.
