Now I don't mean to suggest that the booby plays no role in the design. The feet are there, and Quaxly's evos could transition away from ducks toward boobies, or mix the two somehow. We've had a woodpecker turn into a toucan, one form of water fowl into another is not implausible. My point is that while we won't know for a while if the design intentionally references the booby, to say that it's not a duck at all is simply incorrect
