I have nothing to say other than that I let my Hawlucha learn fling and it's a dogshit move....I had TWO hard rocks and wasted both of them because I didn't know that the move gets rid of the item after use. Fuck cuck XY

Fun fact: If you Fling a TR, it takes on the BP of the move you're flinging.
Leaf Storm and Overheat are as strong as flinging an iron ball, without the downside of being slowed down and grounded.

Also do you know if fling activates unburden? This is what bulbapedia says about unburden

No mention of fling but I don't see why it wouldn't

fling is getting rid of your item
for moves like Bestow that also get rid of your item, and if you use Skill Swap stuff with something with Unburden, Bestow will activate Unburden only if the opponent has no held item, because it fails otherwise. since Fling is getting rid of your item too, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t trigger unburden.

Theoretically it has use on non-Psychic mons. Like a Poison type using it against others, or a Psychic/Fighting using it on other combos of Fighting.
