nuzlocke, Dawn Stones are a bitch to get a hold of during the main story, but Gallade is a lot more useful than Froslass is.
Gallade's main selling point is that it's fast, its physical attack is higher than Garchomp and its Special Defense is surprisingly great.
The only real downside to Gallade is that it has poor physical defense because you were never going to use Gallade for its Special Attack in the first place.
Snow Cloak is for pussies who want to cheese their way to victory, whereas Steadfast punishes the opponent for using flinching moves on you.
That being said, if your Kirlia has a nature that lowers Attack, Speed or Sp.Def, it's not worth it, either pull a Paul and get another male Ralts that has a beneficial nature or evolve it into Gardevoir for Froslass.
