Why did they never make a gen 4 pokerap? They did one for gen 2, gen 3, skipped 4, and then made the gen 5 pokerap which is an abomination on the franchise

The funny part is they actually retained rights to the original Pokerap melody. There was a period where 4kids.tv had trivia bumpers that played the instrumental version of the song in the background well after they lost the Pokemon license.

Apparently they did one make one but the guy who wrote it rhymed "giratina" with "nigger weiner" and TPC didn't realise until right before it was set to air since no one had bothered to listen all the way through until then. They had to pull it at the last minute and didn't have time to make a new one

The Hoenn Pokerap still blows my mind. I literally never saw it air on tv even once, its melody is kinda shit, it screams 4kids amateurishness, they botched Pokemon pronunciations left and right ("KEE-OGR-EE"), they even forgot to include a few mons (Zigzagoon, Relicanth), and despite all of this... I kind of fucking love it.
