Restricted legends never get nerfed. My hope is that this is the gen where they stop the whole "every legendary is here!" bullshit and stick to an actual dexcut.

they cut only 8 mythicals in gen 8 and 5 of them were just sinnoh mythicals, Meloetta, Hoopa and Deoxys were probably cut to many it less obvious

If they didn't stop bringing the legends back for the kinds and comptards yet, they're not going to start in Gen 9. Merch and VGC makes more money for the brand than adding 100 normal shitmon would ever do.

Bringing back every legendary in SWSH was more to do with making dynamax adventures an appealing feature, not for VGC or merch. Most legendaries aren't even popular, it's the mythicals that get special attention for merch.

And yet every Gen the opposite happens, almost as if you're projecting your autism on the world. I don't give a fuck for VGC (I actually broke my duck of not entering ANY pvp just this year, to get the shiny bird freebies) but do like seeing the legends they come up with, to the point I pick my box version pretty much based on what legend I care more for (as everything else is just a slightly-different flavour of each other).

Just like how Pixilate and Refrigerate (Masuda has a raging hate boner for Aurorus) were nerfed along with Aerilate because of a Pokémon that never needed a buff but just a decent physical Flying-type move instead.
