>>50107111Both have their uses and are really good, I prefer Water/Rapid because of a couple of subjective reasons, Competitively i think Smogon and VGC prefer Dark/Single due various reasons like the Rapid Signature being multi-hit and the pool of mons and tactics they have a strong preference for.
In-game i think it is another story because of how fucking common Fairy types (Pure,Primary and Secondary) and Fairy Coverage on Non-Fairy Mon seems to be on NPCs, and Rocky Helmet and and Iron Barbs barely show up even in Battle Tower, plus Rapid is Water so it basically rapes Leons CHARIZAAAAAAAAAARD by default, though both are good against Leon because they can just fuck up Aegislash trying to do King's Shield shit, but Rapid edges out, Though that is just my own casual observation after using both for the game and BT quite a bit, Rapid felt a lot smoother. Though i did do my runs on Shield, so you know, Version Differences.
