>>50117010I don't know why they can't be used, Cosmog and Cosoem have zero attacking moves, yet can be used in fights. The cores are used to tutor Zygarde special moves, so does that mean the cores KNOW these moves, or is it just a game play mechanic? The anime shows Squishy and Z2 absorbing sunlight instead of eating, they're also shown to be able to camouflage themselves, while the Cells are shown to be invisible/camouflaging themselves too. Another ability shown in the anime is the cores telepathically communicating with each other and monitoring the environment through the cells. That could just be the anime doing it's own thing, I don't keep up to date with how accurate it is to actual game play. Also the SM site claims that the cores are sometimes able to act upon their own, while the cells can only act on core's orders, which in SM you can create a Zygarde without having any cores, only cells.
