For me it's that he autistically screeches at any theories or headcanons people have on twitter/instagram yet unironically contributes to more misinformation than those people.
He gets mad at someone with no platform believing a theory but then inserts his headcanons into DYKG which has built itself on facts. People take DYKG as gospel which was unironically fine until he joined.
Just look at anything involving beta pokemon. Fan interpretations of the beta pokemon shoved in your face more than the official sprites, citing their headcanon names more than the real ones at this point, and the scripts of videos always mention theories like "perhaps this was supposed to be ____"
But then if anyone else says "maybe this was ____" he goes "UHM ACKSHUALLY THERES NO CONFIRMASHUN OF THAT"
Yes there's disclaimers like "this is fan art of what it might look like" and "this is an unofficial translation" but it's so slight and makes normies believe it's real.
I've never seen fan shit get spread as official so frequently before dr lava started trying to rewrite history on his DYKG pokemon videos. But yeah let's make a video on how some random kid tweeted a headcanon about pokemon and it accidentally got spread as true instead of address the false info we spread
