>>50123349 You begin to feel like something's missing; it's not just your senses that seem dulled, but your emotions too, you've fallen completely under her spell. The woman speaks up once more, but you can barely hear her, "Now, when you come back to your senses..." Her voice sounds so muffled, like you're hearing it through water, "...you'll no longer think like a human, but a Pokemon... just like Ember here, got it?"
With your eyes glazed over, you can only nod in agreement; you don't want to take your eyes off the pendant—it's so beautiful and so inviting. The woman whispers in your ear, but it sounds as if it was coming from a mile away, "Good, now wake up."
It feels like a bolt of electricity passes through your body as you're suddenly jolted back. The woman is still standing there—she's smiling, a smile that makes you feel uncomfortable as she turns to the crowd. "I want everyone to give it up for our volunteer here!"
As the crowd erupts into applause, you can feel something going on in your head; your senses are heightened, you can hear and smell everything, you feel excited, yet nervous all at once. "Now, we have one more thing in store for this young man here..." she starts, that smile growing a bit wicked. "Sit."
Without any hesitation, you sit down on the stage; its as if some invisible force has taken control of you, forcing you to comply. You try to yell out, but all that comes out is a pathetic bark, like a dog. "Oh my, he's a bit hasty isn't he?" the woman says with a giggle.
Looking up at Ember, she seems to be enjoying the situation greatly; her tail thumping happily against the ground as she watches you. "Well, go ahead, Ember."
Ember barks loudly, her tail lashing about as she stands up, and moves closer to you than she has ever been before. "Now, Ember," the woman coaxes, "I don't think you've given him a proper introduction yet!"
