She's not canon. Unlike Lyra in HGSS, Green doesn't appear as an NPC in FRLG let alone one with the same level importance as Red/Blue. Also HGSS confirms Red is the canon FRLG protagonist.

Masters says that red blue and leaf started their journey together but never mentions any events about leaf’s what’s worse is that does are versions hoopa transported to passio not the much older ones so for those leaf could have never existed

Shes not really canon, shes Red's sister/counterpart, but GF forgot about her entirely and she just became a Female version of Red.

Green should have been in Alola, however, but they were probably saving her to show up at LGPE at the time and they didn't expect Green to be so popular anyways.

Yes, every female counterpart that is not show to have a name, is your protag sibling.
Just like Victor and Gloria are siblings, if you pick one, the other does not appear as a friend or rival in the story.

There's never been a canon female MC anon. They added May, Dawn and Serena to the animes as they existed as NPC's if not chosen as the player avatar during their respective games, but that was due to them always needing to shill important NPC's.

My point was about Leaf as a character, not Leaf as the player character. Yes, female player characters are non canon, but their npc variants do exist. Leaf's does not.
