Any fucking notion of muh serious super plot is done instantly in the ass by the goofy genwun wannabes of this gen. A lot of people with genuine autism were absolutely assblasted that they couldn't use the same exact team they'd used for 3 or more gens. Sooooo many people of the sort who frequent /vp/ absolutely MUST get a Gyarados before the second gym so they can "Press Surf to win game". The thought of actually getting a new Pokemon gen to *gasp* experience the new Pokemon is too mentally stimulating for them.

I dont like gen 5 because its full of shit mon designs and set the stage for shit mon designs in all games since, it was the start of extreme handholding like giving you a super effective mon before letting you challenge the first gym. the map sucks the games just aren't good. In the anime they turned ash into a total retard in the d/p anime he almost one the league then he gets to unova and acts like hes never been in a battle before and acts like a retard for the majority of the show. The b/w anime is still one of my favorites though. and no i'm not a discord tranny gen5 is just terrible
