But being a barren space with nothing to give the area life, to give it the feeling of being an actual designed environment rather than just some corner of an arbitrarily large open world map that they decided not to do anything with, is shitty.
Look back at SWSH, the graphics throughout the game are pretty much the same, but the attention to the art design in the actual routes is significantly higher than in the wild area, where it's a big field randomly smattered with junk that serves only to make the games worse.
