DPPt are the worst of the best games.
Does Platinum deserve to stand alongside the other giants of the series, Emerald, HGSS, and B2W2? Yes. It is a part of the "holy quartet" or whatever you like to call the collection of the best Pokémon games.
Is it better than any of those? No. While Platinum is great, there isn't anything it does better than any of the contemporaries in this category.
Therefore it's the worst of the best. And on the whole it's kind of overrated actually, I mean there are lot of people who think Platinum is better than Emerald, HGSS and B2W2 and that's just plain ridiculous.
