Aight I’m bored so here’s a random thought I had.

How come some Pokémon have cool abilities and talents…in lore? What’s the point of stating something in the Pokédex that we can’t see ourselves?

I’ve been thinking that some Pokémon should have some “ability button” that lets you use their special skills or whatever. For example, Froakie can use its Frubbles in battle to its advantage. Well I should be able to press the Frubble button to use the Frubbles.

Some probably don’t have something like that, but what if Lickitung had a 5th move that was just Lick? Or Jigglypuff’s 5th move was Sing? They can’t forget it. It’s their Frubble button.

Meowstic can supposedly blast everything around it if it opens its ears. Where’s the Meowstic Frubble button then? A once a battle, super strong, Psychic-type explosion. Like a Z-Move or something?

Now I’m aware not every Pokémon is fleshed out enough to have a Frubble button. Some are just bare, but the ones who do have the capability in lore should have that shown. Abilities as they are now don’t show off Typhlosions ability to cause explosions by rubbing its fur. I’m sure there’s better examples than what I thought of but I doubt they’d do this stuff now. There’s probably too many.
