The only people I know that have traveled to India did so because of family and no other reason. For Gen X I see several possibilities (assuming they do something specific for the 10th generation) in order from my most expected to least:
1. Return to a Japan-based region or maybe even a Kanto 2.0
2. A west coast US region with places reminiscent of LA (please no)
3. some other Western European country
4. Something random and GF treats Gen X as any other new generation; ignores the special occasion
