>>50155965Eh, I like 'em all. Y's sleek look really does it for me, and I like putting the sun strats to good use. Stealth Rock still sucks, but it feels good to blast away Rock-types with turn one Solar Beams. Plus I like that it really leans in to the Flying-type. The huge wings rule. Wish its speed was a little higher since the dex says it's fast as fuck, but whatever, guess that means the other 'zards are that fast too :P
That said, X is still cool. It's an edgefest, sure, but ain't nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. Just makes it kinda funny. I actually like that there really is a Dragon-type Charizard, and I really like that it's kind of become Red's signature Pokemon over the years, alongside Pikachu. Plus blue fire equals automatic cool points. X is alright in my book (Though I admit I don't like how its wings and tail are smaller than regular Zard's in-game and in its official art. Other places, like in its introduction in Origins, they're drawn much bigger, and that's peak Zard X to me)
G-Max Charizard doesn't do too much for me, though. Something about losing the cool colour of the wings for just more orange throws the colour balance off a bit, and I really hate that the wings just look like flaming blobs. I think I'd like it a lot more if the wings still looked like huge wings, and maybe if they were a deeper red colour. I still like it well enough, it's a Charizard after all, it just doesn't grab me as much as the others do.
