Trainer battles are kind of pushovers (until postgame), but wild battles come equipped with competitive moves to rock your shit. Alphas are no joke.
There's also more postgame battle facilities than any title in recent memory.
Ingo offers like five different battle modes, and Arceus itself offers something called the "Eternal Battle Reverie" where you can fight bullshit like the entire Creation Trio in a 1v3.
