Both were fun, but I prefer GO initially because it was more fun hanging out with my siblings and friends cruising around late looking for Pokémon than it was to laugh at initially funny memes about the helix fossil. I do prefer tpp overall though because GO’s popularity had a devastating impact, accelerating the casualization of what was already a piss easy franchise

especially at launch: you could only take over gyms and catch pokemon. i think now you can trade and battle against your friends (in a button mash off).

Why these two specifically? I guess TPP was fun for a week. The most fun I had with Pokémon Go was listening to people horribly mispronounce the names on the street.

None of them compare to when Pokémon first began.

Twitch Plays Pokemon was at least somewhat amusing in its concept. It's just a thing that happened.
Pokemon Go was just pure cancer and has directly had a detrimental effect on the mainline games.

Probably Go, TPP is honestly more interesting in hindsight the actual playing/watching the actual playing live was dull and it had shittier memes, Go Craze gave us WATER and was pretty funny overall until you realize that as someone living in a small town in bumfuck nowhere you get fuck all.
