Malamar is the first one that popped in my head simply for how much it can do; it has hypnosis, confusion, damage-reducing barriers, reversing both stat buffs and nerfs etc., and is more likely to have an evil disposition to boot. All forms of Kyurem would make good cave dragons.

Malamar is pretty much Pokemon's Illithid. Have the Mimikyu's mimicing a goblin or kobold clan and catch the adventurers off guard with their slime attributes or head shots doing nothing.
