It sucks that the contest only allows Americans and Japanese to enter and that the grand prize won't even be made into a card. At least the art is cool

They all look fantastic, lots of talent and hard work! Congrats to those who were selected (though i'm not sure if any will see this).
I hope the TPC does more illustration contests in the future and opens them up to more countries!
wish I could attain even an ounce of the talent that these illustrations have.
i'll never be a good artist.

The Q&A doesn't mention anything about getting a job, so I'm glad that the winner has a pipeline to working for Creatures. I wonder if PTCG artists get paid enough to sustain themselves. I know some Manga artists, like the woman who drew Promised Neverland, freelance for them

Apparently the contest was October 2021-January 2022. Somehow in those four months of entry time I didn’t hear about it once, and now today every person I see online is talking about it. Kinda bummed cause I would’ve entered if I knew.
