Humanoid pokemon is always an odd concept, one hand they are canonically no different than regular animals on fours and should act that way (Pokedex entries aside), but on the other hand it still gives off uncanny vibes to imagine pokemon like img related acting this way because of how they look alone.
These two conflicting narratives in pokemon have lead to so many arguments over "All pokemon are animals just like in real life!" then "Pokemon are more than just animals!". Almost like its impossible to have middle ground and suggest that some pokemon behave differently than others based on what we know from their past behavior, pokedex entries, etc.
I guess moral for /vp/ is when you see one guy arguing that all pokemon are dumb animals and someone else saying all pokemon are sentient they are both being biased as fuck.
