Johto is a lot of fun if you:
- every Pokemon slot is randomized: wild, trainers, stationary, what they evolve into, etc.
- no more day/night or trade evolutions
- everything is 1.5x the normal level. in other words, a trainer with a lv30 means it'll be lv45, or 40 in the Elite Four = 60. Red's are 100 by default. which makes it a lot more enjoyable
- movesets are random (50% good moves, always start with 4 moves)
- items on map are random (negates in shit items like berries and mail)
- TMs are random (50% good moves)
