They are all based and unique in their own ways and that makes it feel special to me.
Just because dusclops doesn't have a skull mask and dusknoir is also pretty different from dusclops doesn't make any of them bad designs. Dusclops is my favorite of the 3 but I love em all.
I'd say a pokemon that actually just ditches a theme or doesnt convey the theme well compared to their pre-evos (coalossal, noctowl, grumpig, etc etc) are more botched, and so are pokemon that just drastically change and add themes that make them way too different from pre-evos (rhyperior, incineroar)
At least there's a good amount of cohesiveness in duskulls Evo line.
