I’m also playing BB2R. Decided that whatever the gift Egg from Floccesy Ranch hatched into would become my starter & would determine what Monotype I would run. Since I got Pichu, I’m running mono Electric. Just beat Wattson & Elesa to declare my Electric supremacy. Now I have to brainstorm about how to take on Clay. The first 6 are my main team while everything else is comprised of reserved I occasionally rotate in. The Pachirisu is Shiny too.

Just beat the champion in Pokemon red. I have to say this has been one of the easiest Pokemon games, like 2nd or 3rd easiest overall. I'm sure if it were my first game with no Internet it would've been hard. Going for one of GSC next, probably crystal.

if it's moon and not ultra moon then forget about grubbin and crabrawler because they don't evolve until the end of the game, and the latter's evo sucks ass. cutiefly eventually becomes pretty decent

I've never done a gen 7 nuzlocke but the water trial is always brutal. If you can get past that you should be in the clear, the next two trials after that are weak to your z-moves so you can really blow through them.

Grubbin should be fine, I used an Eviolite Charjabug on my first playthrough and it was surprisingly tanky. I honestly enjoyed using it more than Vikavolt.

It's in the last town you visit on the second island. I forget if it's on the ground or if you need to talk to an NPC for it. Either way it's relatively early but you'll need to clear all three trials first.

that's unfortunate. i'd say the third choice is bug like >>50190187 said or maybe poison but that's partly because I think electric types are boring because most are just moderately fast special attackers.

Same, about to beat the Gym in Nimbasa. Ive got Beedrill, Growlithe, Pidgeot, Lanturn, Skarmory and Serperior. Although thinking of substituting Pidgeot for Vibrava, a bit of a Sophies choice.
